Crafted from vegetable tanned leather, available in classic Black and Tan.

These leathers are sourced from a Leather Working Group certified tannery - a third-party certification that recognises efforts to reduce environmental impacts in leather production.

These leather pieces are made in India by family owned and operated company Ellevana. We began working with Ellevana in 2021, and as a newer operation, we are working together with the team to establish regular auditing processes for both environmental and social practices. In 2023 Ellevana completed a full 4-Pillar SMETA social compliance audit, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.

Care Instructions

To maintain the beauty of your ELK bag we recommend protective sprays and using a good quality leather conditioner to treat the product, which will increase its longevity. Do not put leather pieces on the ground or rub against abrasive surfaces. Leather is a natural material and will wear with age and use. The dye in the leather can sometimes rub off so please be aware of this when wearing light clothing or placing the leather item on light surfaces.
