This fabulous Victorian Sterling Silver pendant brooch is adorned with old cut Paste Stones, all original, with the pin and C catch - Circa 1880.
The bale is set with Paste Stones, leading to beautiful, floral workmanship.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
Steeped in history, it looks fabulous on a lapel.

The pendant measures 45mm across x 65mm down, including dropper.
The central Paste stone measures 5mm across x 5mm down.
