This fabulous Aquamarine Paste brooch is Victorian, set in 9ct Yellow Gold.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.

The colour of the Paste Stone Aquamarine is, a lovely rich ocean Blue.

The Gold has been tested as 9ct.

Steeped in history, this would look fabulous on a lapel.

It weighs 3.8 grams.

The Aquamarine Paste measures 7mm across x 11mm down.

The length of the brooch measures 52mm across.
