This is an ancient Agate Seal depicting a Lion From the Sassanian Empire, 3rd Century AD, this seal is from the Indus Valley, Pakistan. Worn as a pendant, this ancient carnelian seal has a 3mm hole, and a lovely standing or walking lion. Beautiful distinctive and unique stone with mossy green and gray-cream agate. 21mm diameter x 18mm tall x 18mm thick. One in my collection of 30 seals, many stones, including carnelian, agate, iron ore, and jasper. All unique and highly collectible! The wax relief shows as clearly as possible the impression.
